Welcome to a keynote like no other
Date: January 27, 2026
Place: Östra Järnvägsgatan 23 (Dahl Agenturer)
Time: 08.00 - 10:00 (breakfast, keynote, reflection)
Meet the creative futurist, author, and guest professor Stefan Engeseth, who has spent over three decades exploring the possibilities of the future through interviews and collaborations with researchers, leaders, and innovators worldwide. He has delved deep into strategy, psychology, technology, evolution, business development, and, not least, AI. In short, all the areas that shape tomorrow’s organizations and societies. The result is a unique ability to see patterns where others see chaos, and to challenge both old truths and ingrained thought patterns.
In his latest book, Homo Stupido, Stefan highlights the paradox between human intelligence and stupidity. He shows that our ability to make mistakes is not a weakness, but can be recycled and transformed into powerful innovation, progress, and long-term sustainability. In this session, he also draws on his previous books, Sharkonomics and One, where nature’s strategies and the behavior of sharks inspire innovative business models, market adaptation, and successful attacks on the status quo.
In the session, you will gain practical insights and tools to:
Turn wrong decisions and failures into fuel for new thinking and innovation.
Learn from nature’s strategies for adaptation, survival, and growth.
Understand why the future rewards courage over perfection.
Explore how “stupidity in the right way” can become a strategic resource.
Build a "talent garden" where people and ideas can grow in the right environment.
Stefan is known for his energy, his perspective, and his unexpected connections between evolution, AI, and business development and strategy. His sessions are as much an experience as a journey of knowledge, where humor, sharp analysis, and thought-provoking examples are mixed in a way that makes it impossible not to be inspired.
This is not just a session about the future, but an opportunity to take a firmer grip on it yourself. During the session, you will be challenged, entertained, and above all, gain new ideas on how to stay one step ahead, think differently, and find the power in the unexpected - this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
